Dear Dive Log,

I am writing to you in the hopes that I can use your magazine to tell the diving world about how great a time I had in Vanuatu diving the Coolidge with Aquamarine.

“Whatever your adventure, the Aquamarine crew complete the experience by truly making you feel like you are diving with friends.”

This is now my third trip to dive the Coolidge with Aquamarine (along with Frog Dive crew leader Sean and his motley crew of 10) and each time I am so impressed that I vow to let everyone know… and this time I am finally going to do it. Mind you, I think that half the reason for me not writing earlier is because I am too busy planning my trip back!

I know that most divers venture overseas to make it to the Coolidge at some stage (which in itself is a testament to the great diving and great people that Santo has to offer) and I am pretty sure that there would be none amongst us who could say that it wasn’t an absolutely fabulous place to dive.

Whether you prefer big wrecks, fish and reef or scrap metal in the form of Million Dollar Point, Santo has something to offer all diving tastes. For those of us who like the piles of rust, the Coolidge can offer some of the most accessible diving available as well as get your pulse racing as you traverse the long dark corridors, dig through the dirt for treasure, watch your bubbles glow in the dark with luminescence while looking for flashlight fish, and gaze in awe at the stern in 60m which is so huge it makes you eel like you have become a tiny spec in the great, mysterious world of the deep.

What I find most exciting is that every time I visit, is that from the second I land, I know that I am about to share my diving experience with a group of people that share my passion and enthusiasm. Whatever your adventure, the Aquamarine crew complete the experience by truly making you feel like you are diving with friends and making you a part of the family for your stay (albeit a big family with ten of us to adopt on this trip!) Their experience and confidence is second only to their excitement on being able to share with you one of the oceans great treasures. I think we all know the buzz that comes from diving with someone who loves what they do and who loves sharing it with the others. I think I can safely say that Barry and the crew at Aquamarine love what they do and we definitely loved sharing the experience with them. Thanks guys and see you next year! Thanks Dive Log for allowing me to contribute.

Kind Regards

Kellie Pittaway (Sydney, Australia)

Response from Dive Log: Kellie, wow… three trips to Santo Vanuatu to dive the President Coolidge! You must really be a wreck and rust buff! What I find interesting is the fact that each time you return to Santo you choose to dive with Aquamarine. Barry and his dive crew must give good service and support. Many thanks for your email and congratulations to the Aquamarine team!
