Some Santo Tours
Have a non-diving
partner or bringing
your family?
Why not sign them up for a Discover Scuba course? In a single morning or afternoon, they can learn some basic skills and go on a supervised dive. If they like it, they can take an open water course and be diving with you within just a few days.

New tours are always being developed and the staff at Aquamarine can tell you the latest tours and make recommendations about the best tours to match your interests. Find our more about local tours or make a tour booking with Paradise Tours
Tours are often changing and can be weather dependent so we recommend stopping into the shop and finding out the latest information before booking. Tours can be booked with just one or two days notice and Aquamarine provides free tour booking service for our divers.
To give you an idea of the types of tours available, heres a few of our divers favorites:
Millenium Cave and River Trek
Full-Day Tour
By far the most popular tour among visitors to Santo, and not for the faint of heart. Youll walk through lush rainforest, learning medicinal uses of local plants and tress before descending down bamboo ladders making your way to a 400 meter long cave with a running stream and stalagmites and stalactites all around. Once through the cave, youll start your river adventure. Scrambling over rocks and boulders, youll navigate a waterfall before enjoying a lazy float downstream. Youll swim through canyon walls, past plunging waterfalls and take in the majesty of the pristine landscape before returning to town.
VilVil Custom Village
Half-Day Tour
Just a short drive from town and youll be in this inviting, friendly custom village. Like most villages in Vanuatu, there is no electricity or running water and the culture is rich in tradition and custom. The chief and his community will greet you with traditional songs and custom dance before taking you on a tour where youll learn the traditional roles of men, women and children and how they all work together to protect and sustain the village community.
Riri Riri River Canoe Trip
Half-Day Tour
Relax and enjoy the scenery as your guide takes you up the idyllic spring-fed Riri Riri river in a locally made dugout canoe. Youll canoe to the end of this quiet river where a stunning Blue Hole awaits you. Enjoy the scenery and the sounds of the tropical rainforest as you take a refreshing swim. Youll canoe back downstream before returning to town.
Vathe Conservation Area
Full-Day Tour
Although its Vanuatus first national park, youll feel like the first person to ever discover this gorgeous rainforest and black sand beach as fewer than 300 tourists visit this park each year. Spread over 2,300 hectares of lush, undisturbed land, there are walking trails to enjoy or you can take an educational tour to learn about local plants and bird life. On your way back to town, youll have the chance to see one of Santos beautiful Blue Holes for a refreshing swim and snorkel.
There are also a variety of tours that combine various sites, take you to our pristine beaches as well as show you the many WWII ruins around Santo. Just stop into Aquamarine when you arrive in Santo and well help you find the best tour for you.
